Michelle studied psychology as an undergraduate at Bates College and obtained her first nurse practitioner certification in acute/critical care in 2012 from the University of Massachusetts, Worcester. She spent the bulk of her career working in medical ICUs within the Merrimack Valley.
During the first COVID wave back in 2020, it became readily apparent that healthcare professionals and society in general needed support. She decided to take a step back from critical care to pursue a certification in psychiatry/mental health and has been practicing in southern NH ever since.
